Leona Parsons

Leona Jean Parsons, 82, of Nogal, NM passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 in Lubbock, TX. She was born March 30, 1932 at Pep, NM to Ollie and Chester Plummer. She moved to Lincoln County in January of 2009 from Lake Buchanan, TX. She married Don Parsons on May 17, 1948 at Lovington, NM.

She is survived by her husband, Don a son, Donnie Parsons of Huntington Beach, CA two daughters, Kathey Jean Andrus of Lubbock, TX and Gail Lynn Goff of Caprock, NM a brother, Larry Plummer eight grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 16, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life in Memory of Leona will be Thursday, July 17, at 2:30 PM with a graveside service at 4:00 PM at the Angus Cemetery.
