Laurie Morrison

Laurie Jo Helmueller Morrison passed away on January 14, 2021 in El Paso, Texas. Laurie passed peacefully with her husband by her side.

Laurie was born on January 19, 1959 in St. Paul Minnesota. She grew up in St. Paul where she graduated High School. Laurie also graduated from a Cosmetology College. Laurie moved to Ruidoso where she excelled in the Customer Service Industry. People were her passion, Laurie never knew a stranger. She greeted everyone with her warm smile and contagious laugh. Laurie and her devoted husband, Bill, built a wonderful life together for over 30 years.

Laurie was proceeded in death by her parents Jacob and Isabelle Helmueller, sisters Sally and Kathy and brother Bill.

Laurie is survived by her husband William V. Morrison, son William Isaac (Danessa) -and three wonderful grandchildren Landon Van, Addilyn and Rowan Isaac.

Laurie is survived by a brother Jerry Helmueller (Lori), sister Julie Shladweiller (Gary), mother-in-law Claudine Davis, sister-in-law Susan Lutterman (Tom) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.

A Memorial and Celebration of Life for Laurie has been planned for Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 12 noon at the Links Golf Course Practice Tee.
