Larry Thompson

Dale Thompson, 76, of Ruidoso passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at his home. He was born September 21, 1936 at Walters, Oklahoma to Esther and D.E. Thompson who both have preceded him in death.

He married Sarah Butler on December 15, 1964 at San Jose, California. He moved to Ruidoso in 1970 from Sunnyvale, California and owned and operated the Ruidoso Lodge, Scenic View R.V. Park and DS Sales and Salvage.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah of Ruidoso children, Larry Thompson and his wife Margarita of Ruidoso Downs, Mike Thompson and his wife, Megan of Ruidoso, and Carol Thompson sister, Ann Dayton of Utah grandchildren, Cassie Thompson, Allie Thompson, Garrett Thompson, Bryce Thompson, Arron Griewahn, and Cody Griewahn. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Thompson.

Graveside services will be Friday, August 23, at 10:00 AM in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruidoso.
