Ladonna France

LaDonna Lovell Absher France passed away Wednesday, Jaunaury 19, 2011. She was born June 28, 1943 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Lloyd D. Absher, who precedes her in death and Beatrice L. Solt of Roswell, NM. She married Charles F. Danley in 1961 and he precedes her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Charla G. Lathan and her husband Tony of Ruidoso Downs and Teresa L. Winkie and her husband Mike of Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren sisters, Lequitta Carlton and Lori Carver brothers, Carl Palmer and James Absher stepmother, Helen Absher and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers. She married Wally France of Salt Lake City, Utah and he precedes her in death, she is also survived by 3 stepchildren and 3 step grandchildren.

She lived and worked at various places in Ruidoso including Lincoln County Medical Center for 20 years, moving to Salt Lake City and worked at IHC Intermountain Medical Hospital for 5 years. She then traveled with her husband and also did various camp host jobs in several different states.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints Church in Ruidoso. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 28, at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints in Ruidoso. Cremation is under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
