Kenneth Whipple

Kenneth Lee Whipple, 61, of Capitan passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Capitan. He was born March 8, 1950 in Houston, Texas.

Kenneth had lived in Lincoln County for over 35 years and was the owner of Noisy Water Spa in Ruidoso since 1980. He was also a charter member of the Optimist Club.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Whipple of Capitan son, Paul Whipple and his wife Barbara of Taos, NM: daughter, Wylla Jo Bechel and her husband Michael of Wisconsin his mother, Jane Biddle of Ruidoso two brothers, Craig Whipple and his wife Connie of Capitan and Larry Whipple and his wife Katherine of El Paso, TX sister in law and brother in law, Charlotte and Bob Pennington brother in law, Eddie Leonard. His grandchildren, Kenneth Gage Whipple, Chloe Whipple, Haven Whipple, Breanna Bechel, Mikayla Bechel and Sean Souter two children that he raised as his own, Dannon Sime and his wife Jodie and their children, David, Kendra Jean, Laura and Rosie Doyle and her fiancee Jim and son Devon. His cousins Chuck Whipple, Buck Whipple, and Mary Ann nephews and nieces, Jim Paul Whipple, Cutter Whipple, Jimmy Whipple and Leigh Whipple, Colinda Whipple, Garrick Pennington, Shane Pennington, Jeremiah Leonard and Eva Whipple.

He was preceded in death by his father, James O. Whipple.
