Kenneth Murr

Kenneth Waldo Murr, 95, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his home in Ruidoso. Ken was born in Harrison County, Indiana on March 12, 1919 to Roscoe and Mabel Berry Murr.

Ken served in the Navy during World War II and upon discharge returned to Indiana to work at Jefferson Proving Grounds until that base closed. He then moved with his wife, Laura Frances and daughter Myrna to El Paso, Texas. Ken worked with Civil Service at White Sands Missile Range until his retirement. He and Frances are long time residents of Ruidoso.

Burial was Monday, August 25, at 9:00 AM at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.
