Kenneth Hutchinson

Funeral service for Kenneth Bruce Hutchinson, 74, of Ruidoso will be Wednesday, May 9, at 3:00 PM in the Community United Methodist Church in Ruidoso.

He passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at his home in Ruidoso. He was born December 21, 1937 at Santa Fe, NM to Velma and Harry Hutchinson and was raised at Espanola, NM. He graduated from Espanola High School and attended New Mexico State University. He was also a 4H leader in Espanola and had his own business as a mechanic and welder with heavy equipment. He moved to Ruidoso in 1993 from Las Cruces. He had served in the Air Force and attended Community United Methodist Church. He married Karen Popp on December 26, 1960 at Great Bend, ND.

He is survived by his wife, Karen 4 sons, Scott Hutchinson and his wife Gale of Albuquerque, Bruce Hutchinson and his wife Debra of Rio Rancho, Bryan Hutchinson of Ruidoso Joel Hutchinson and his wife Allison of Las Cruces one daughter, Jill HutchinsonBass and her husband Gary of Vietnam and 6 grandchildren.

The family has requested memorials to New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch or Ruidoso Home Care and Hospice.
