Karen Turner

Visitation for Karen A. Turner, 57, of Ruidoso Downs will be Tuesday, July 8, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso where the funeral will be on Wednesday, July 9, at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Ruidoso Hondo Valley Cemetery. Mrs. Turner passed away Wednesday, July 2, in Ruidoso. She was born October 16, 1950 in Chicago Heights, Ilinois. She moved to Ruidoso one year ago from Leithcfield, Kentucky. She was currently working for the Village of Ruidoso in the Water Department and in Leitchfield, Kentucky she had worked for the electric company. She married Christopher J. Turner in 1977 at Las Vegas, Nevada. She is survived by her husband, Christopher; a daughter, Kristine Marie Fullerton and her husband Arnie; 2 step-sons, Richard Turner and his wife, Kelly and Daniel Turner; 3 brothers, Paul Hejmanowski and his wife, Charolette, John Hejmanowski and his wife, Catherine, and James Hejmanowski and his wife, Jerryline; 3 sisters, Susan McKenna, Joyce Rambo and her husband Greg, and Jean Wait and her husband, Daniel and five grandchildren. The family has requested memorials to the American Heart Association.
