Joy Slane

Joy I. Slane, went to heaven, on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. She was born June 26, 1942 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved to Lincoln County 35 years ago from Colorado.

She is survived by her husband, and soulmate, John Downey; her sons, Clint Henson and his wife, Wanda and Riley Henson and his wife, Pauline; three grandchildren, Beki Reyes, Toby Henson, and Dylan Henson, and three great grandchildren, Liam, Spencer and Kambryn.

Joy was an award winning artist, with pieces in collections across the nation. She lived her life, adding beauty to the world, kindness and love, to those who knew her.
