Joseph Taylor

Joseph M. Taylor, 81, of Ruidoso passed away on Sunday, August 27, at his home. He was born May 30, 1936 at Pelzer, South Carolina.

He moved to Ruidoso in June, 2013 from Wimberly, Texas. He owned and operated Touched by Angels in Ruidoso. He attended First Christian Church. He married Phyllis on June 2, 1994 in El Paso, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his children, Lisa Holdbrook of Bergheim, TX, Joseph Taylor of Broomfield, CO, Carolyn Taylor of Coppell, TX, Nancy Taylor of El Paso, TX, Jennifer Bailey of Houston, TX, Rhonda Baumgardner of Ruidoso Downs, NM and Sonia Ledbetter of Goshen, NY; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

His memorial service will Sunday, September 17, at 3:00 PM in the First Christian Church in Ruidoso.

He was a happy person and loved life, people and had a big heart. He taught his kids by the Eagle Scout Creed and he lived by the Eagle Scout Creed. Phyllis was very important to him.
