John Kimbrell

Rosary for John Romero Kimbrell, 80, of Ruidoso, will be recited at 10:30 AM on Saturday July 21, 2012 with the funeral mass at 11:00 AM at St. Eleanors Catholic Church with Rev. Al Galvan officiating. Burial will follow at Picacho Cemetery with Military Honors.

Mr. Kimbrell was born on February 13, 1932 in Picacho, NM to George and Lupe Romero KImbrell and died on July 15, 2012 in Ruidoso. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1951 to 1955, he returned to Otero County where he worked at Holloman Air Force base for several years. He moved to Englewood, CA where he worked at the naval shipyard for 6 years. He then went to work for the City of Englewood as a maintenance worker and retired after 20 years. Mr. Kimbrell returned to Lincoln County after his retirement.

Mr. Kimbrell is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, one brother and one sister. He is survived by his sons, B.G.Kimbrell, Rod Kimbrell, Erick Kimbrell, Derrick Kimbrell, and Fred Kimbrell his daughter, Andrea Kimbrell thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren
