Joe Young

Funeral service for Joe Young, 70, of Ruidoso Downs will be Friday, May 17, at 10:00 A.M. in the First United Methodist Church at Tahoka, Texas with burial to follow at the Nevels Cemetery.

Mr. Young passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 at his home. He was born September 16, 1942 at Tahoka, Texas to Dorothy and B.A. Young Jr. and both precede him in death. He was a retired lineman and horse trainer. He moved to Ruidoso Downs in 1994 from Tahoka.

He is survived by his sweetheart of 52 years, Nedra two sons, Tom Young and his partner, Tom Jaeger of Orlando, FL and Tim Young and his wife, Lora of Claude, TX sister, Patricia Williams and her husband Roger of Tahoka, TX brother, Don Young and his wife, Jeanette of Plains, TX two grandchildren, Aiden Young and Preslee Young 3 nieces and 1 nephew he was also preceded in death by a brother, William Thomas Young.
