Jimmy Craig Goodwin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jimmy Craig Goodwin on August 2, 2023. Born February 27, 1952, to parents who preceded him, CC and Cecelia Goodwin of Earth, Texas. Jimmy was 71 years old. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet Goodwin of Ruidoso, NM, a sister Fonda Goodwin DeWitt (Denton) of Texas, an uncle and aunt Loyd R. Goodwin (Diane) of Ft Worth, TX, a sister-in-law, Beth Nelson of Texas, two nieces and two nephews and their families, all of Texas, and especially his friends and close business associates.

Jimmy’s legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all those he left behind. Jimmy lived a life filled with love, generosity, and kindness. His warm spirit touched everyone he met. His life will be a testament to the deep love he had for his family, special friends, his pets, and his community.

Please join us for a celebration of Jimmy’s life September 30, 2023, at 2pm at First Christian Church 1211 Hull Road in Ruidoso New Mexico. Just as Jimmy was known for wearing shorts, you are invited to wear them at the service.
