A memorial service for Jesse Emmet Jay Williams, 85, of Ruidoso will be Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Episcopal Church of the Holy Mount in Ruidoso. Mr. Williams passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at his home in Ruidoso. He was born July 29, 1925 at Memphis, Tennessee.
He served in the Army during World War II as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne, he was a retired draftsman and moved to Ruidoso 13 years ago from Mountain Home, Arkansas. He attended the Episcopal Church of the Holy Mount. He married Eve Tardy on May 18, 1946 at Memphis, Tennessee. He belonged to the D.A.V. and the V.F.W. and was a 32nd Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Eve Williams three sons, Barry Williams, Jerry Williams, and Mark Williams a daughter, Belinda West 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Cremation was under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso.
