Graveside services for Jeanne Edna Allen, 80, of the Hale Lake area will be Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 1:00 PM in the Ruidoso-Hondo Valley Cemetery near Ruidoso Downs, officiating will be Scott Treadway. Mrs. Allen passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, in Albuquerque. She was born July 28, 1928 at Los Angeles, California. She moved to Lincoln County in 1989 from Canyon Lake, California, she was a homemaker. She married Welton M. Allen, on December 26, 1944 at Yuma, Arizona. She is survived by her husband, Welton; a daughter, Sharon Allen; a son, Jerry Allen and his wife Sharon; brothers and sisters, Ken Cable and his wife Dorothy, Carol Brockelsby and husband Brock, Bert Ecklund, Audrey Walker, Robert Cable and his wife Marilyn, and Keith Cable and his wife Bobbie; 4 grandchildren, Lisa Allen, Jennifer Allen and her husband Scott Treadway; Heidi Allen and her husband Michael Doe, and Timothy Allen; 6 great grandchildren, Kyle Doe, Thomas Doe, April Treadway, Tyler Treadway, Carter Treadway, and Aubrey Treadway.
