Janet Hagen

No services are planned for Janet Agnes Hagen, 71, of Ruidoso Downs who passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at her home. She was born September 15, 1937 at Elgin, Illinois to Mary Lou and Roy Hagen who both precede her in death. Mrs. Hagen for many years worked as a greeter on the grocery side of Wal-Mart. She moved to Ruidoso Downs 18 years ago from California and was baptized in the Lutheran Church. She is survived by two sons, Roy L. Smelser and his wife Patty and Tracy J. Smelser; a daughter in law, Bonnie Smelser who was married to Vance A. Smelser who precedes his mother in death; two sisters, Candice and Linda; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
