Jana Hammitt

Visitation for Jana Kaye Hammitt, 46, of Roswell and formerly of Ruidoso will be Friday, Nov. 27, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso with burial to follow at the Ruidoso Hondo Valley Cemetery at Ruidoso Downs. Jana passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Roswell. She was born January 6, 1963 at Odessa, Texas. She had lived in Roswell for the past 9 months and moved there from Ruidoso where she had lived since 2004 and moved to Ruidoso from Pennsylvania. Survivors include her daughter, Brittany Thomas; sons, Justin Slaughter and Joshua Slaughter; her mother, Carol Hammitt; her father and step mother, Robert Bob and Sandi Hammitt and her grandfather, W.W. Watt Wilkinson.
