Funeral service for James L. Steward Jr., 30, of Mescalero will be Wednesday, April 22, at 10:00 AM at the Mescalero Community Center with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
James passed away Wednesday, April 15, at Ruidoso, he was born May 23, 1978 at Portales, New Mexico and had lived most of his life at Mescalero. He was working at the Mescalero Travel Center.
He is survived by a daughter, Jade Jean Lee Steward; his mother, Lydia Cervantes; brother, Tynel Deshane Steward; two sisters, Jamie Lee Steward and Myrtii Kanseah.
