James Bryant

Memorial service for James Leslie Bryant, 67, of Ruidoso will be Thursday, May 6, at 2:30 PM in the First Christian Church in Ruidoso. Mr. Bryant passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010 in Ruidoso. He was born March 26, 1943 at Merkel, Texas.

He moved to Ruidoso on June 17, 2001 from Seattle, Washington. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1961 and was the Captain of the football team. He graduated from North Texas State University and San Diego State where he received he Masters degree in Science. He was a retired Microbiologist with the Food and Drug Administration. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and he loved to hunt, fish and golf. He married Maria Del Rosario Aguis on July 15, 1978 at Reno, Nevada.

He is survived by his wife, Maria of Ruidoso two sons, Kevin Bryant of Roswell and Tommy Bryant of Woodinville, Washington a daughter, Christina Bryant of Ruidoso a brother, Roger Bryant of Odessa, Texas his sister, Joyce Davies of Ruidoso and two grandchildren, Nicole Bryant and Jacob Haley Bryant.

The family has requested memorials to the Humans Society of Lincoln County.
