Jackie Wallace

Former Ruidoso Downs Jockey, Jack H. Wallace, passed away unexpectedly July 11, 2011. Jack was born in Columbus Ohio, June 14, 1935 to Charles and Pauline Wallace. Jack is known for many years of riding and winning many top Thoroughbred races and is best known for winning the All American Futurity in 1965 on a horse named, Savannah Jr.

Those who knew Jack were always quick to say Hes a real Gentleman. Jacks love of Horse Racing, Music, Family and Friends was always apparent to all who knew him.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Wallace Anderson, grandson Levi, brother, Chuck Wallace and sister, JoAnn Sis Parker.
