Jackie Owensby

Jackie Harris Owensby "Jack", 74, of Ruidoso, New Mexico passed away on October 10, 2018 in Ruidoso, NM. Jack was born on May 25, 1944 in Clovis, NM to Jack and Connie Owensby.

Jack was a graduate of Clovis High School. He married Caroline Sue on March 8, 1979. Jack served six years in the army as a Specialist E-6 Staff Sergeant. Later, Jack and Suzie owned several businesses in Gainesville, TX. Jack retired from McCormick Spice in Irving, TX, and then moved to Ruidoso, New Mexico where he worked as an agent for the Mescalero Tribal Gaming Commission.

Jack is survived by his wife Suzie Owensby, his daughters Terri Higgins and Carri Lohmar, his sons David Higgins and Daniel Thacker, six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, his brother Randy Owensby, and a number of extended family and friends.
