Jack Orio

On Sunday April 1st of 2012 Jack G. Orio passed away at his home at the age of 62. Jack was born in Albuquerque and attended Del Norte High School until moving to Clovis, NM where he graduated from Clovis High School in 1967. He is survived by his wife Kathy, of 30 years, 5 children, Robert and Jason of Colorado, Erik, Nick, and Maddy, and two grandchildren, Jackson and Sydney, his sisterinlaw Mary Martinez and nephew Jeremy.

Jack moved to Ruidoso in 1984 because he thought it would be a great place to raise a family and then spent the next 28 years touching peoples lives. During this time he became an integral member within the firefighting family. He was very proud of all of his children and will be missed greatly, by many.

A celebration of Jacks life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012, 2:00 p.m., at Gateway Church of Christ. Refreshments will follow the service at Sontera Fire Station on Airport Road.
