Jack Neill

Jack. H. Neill, 46, of Capitan, New Mexico went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 2, 2012.

Born July 11, 1965 in Artesia, New Mexico and raised in Portales, New Mexico, he graduated from Portales High School in 1983. On June 13, 1988 Jack married his wife Kathy Sloan of Lubbock, Texas. In 2002 Jack and Kathy relocated to Capitan, with their three children Tyler, Brooke and Bailey. Since 2002, Jack worked at American Oxygen, the Village of Ruidoso and Alpine Concrete.

Jack had a passion for football, hunting, cow haulin and country music. Jacks family were members at the Capitan Church of Christ. He was an outgoing man who was very friendly, helpful, giving, honest, and loyal. He could often be found on the football sidelines encouraging every football coach and player. Besides his three children, Jack served as a second dad to many.

Jack is survived by his wife, Kathy, son Tyler, daughters Brooke and Bailey, father Jack Neill of Albuquerque, brother Warren Neill of Florida, sister Twila Neill of San Antonio, Texas, Grandmother Gladys Neill of Alto and numerous other uncles, aunts, cousins, family members and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his mother Geralyn Neill and granddaughter ShaeLynn Amor.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Capitan Church of Christ located at 420 Lincoln Avenue.

A Memorial Fund has been established at Washington Federal Bank. Donations can be made at any branch or mailed to Washington Federal co Jack Neill Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 447, Capitan, NM 88316.
