Jack Adams

Funeral service for Jack D. Adams, 78, of Ruidoso will be Thursday, Feb. 26, at 5:30 PM in the First Christian Church in Ruidoso. Graveside services will be Friday, Feb. 27, at 2:30 PM in the Plainview Cemetery in Plainview, Texas. Mr. Adams was born June 22, 1930 in Texas and passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2009 in Ruidoso. He had moved to Ruidoso in January, 1996 from Albuquerque. He retired from the Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer and served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He married Carol Kellison on September 16, 1958 at Reno, Nevada and she preceded him in death on September 2, 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Vikkee Johnson of Ruidoso and two grandchildren, Kelly Johnson and Nikkee Johnson both of Ruidoso.
