Isabel Vega

Rosary service for Isabel Nana Vega, 82, of Carrizozo will be Friday, May 20, at 6:00 PM in Santa Ritas Catholic Church in Carrizozo where the funeral mass will be on Saturday, May 21, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery with Father Tony Basso officiating.

Mrs. Vega passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 in Carrizozo. She was born July 8, 1928 in Carrizozo to Rosa and Andres Sandoval and had lived in Carrizozo all of her life. She was a homemaker and attended Santa Ritas Catholic Church. She married Joe Vega on November 5, 1943 in Carrizozo and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2001.

She is survived by three sons, Ernest Vega of Albuquerque, Joe J. Vega of Carrizozo and Sam G. Vega of Gatesville, TX two daughters, Carol J. Zamora of Carrizozo and Kathy R. Archuleta of Roswell two brothers, Ignacio Lopez and Ricardo Lopez 20 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
