Isaac "Ike" Romero, 78, of Ruidoso passed away Friday, May 22, in Ruidoso. He was born March 27, 1937 at Denver, Colorado. He moved to Ruidoso 13 years ago from Holtville, California. Ike was a retired educator. He married Stella Maes on November 19, 1960 at Albuquerque.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Romero; 4 daughters, Annette Dutton, Geraldine Romero-Mavis, Stephanie Sachs and Michelle Carr; 2 sisters, Rosie Baca and Annie Lopez and 9 grandchildren.

Rosary will be Thursday, May 28, in St. Eleanor's Catholic Church at 9:30 AM with the funeral mass at 10:00 AM.
