Homer John

The prayer service for Homer John, 41, of Mescalero will be Monday, Aug. 25, at 6:00 PM in the Mescalero Reformed Church with the funeral service on Tuesday, Aug. 26, in the Mescalero Community Center. Burial will follow at the Elk Springs Cemetery. Mr. John passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, at his home. He was born December 7, 1966 at Mescalero and had lived there all of his life. He worked for Mescalero Forest Products as a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his wife, Lana; three step children, Voni Herrera, Garrick Shendo, Lynea Shendo; a brother, Raymond John; three sisters, Willymae Smith, Winona Jefferson, and Pearline Bunnie.
