Holly Volquardsen

Holly Dianne Volquardsen, age 68, of Nogal, New Mexico, passed from this life at her home on February 4, 2024. She was born on August 20, 1955, in El Paso, the daughter of Fred Volquardsen and Anne Preston Haworth.

Holly is remembered as loving, kind, caring and smiling even in the worst situations of her life. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need and loved and cared for God's creatures making sure those she cared for had everything they needed. She worked for close to twenty years as a Lincoln County Sheriff Dispatcher and officer. She loved her job and made sure all she encountered was done right to the best of her abilities. She did the best she could as a mother despite her circumstances and loved us through everything. She loved her Star Trek and always said if they ever show up to make sure to pick her up before we leave. Holly was and always will be one of the strongest and loving people on this planet. If you met her for the first time, you would never know how much she had truly endured and been through the other side. Her personality and character are deeply missed but never forgotten.

She is survived by her daughters, Aubri Anne Edmonds, and Ashley Dianne Cearley; grandchildren, Preston, Jayson, Levi, and Benjamin; brothers, Fred, Rick, David, and Chris Volquardsen; and sister, Linda Branch.
