Holly Vicars

Holly Marie Vicars, 67, of Ruidoso passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in Ruidoso. The family will receive guest Saturday, February 12, at 3:00 P.M. at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Ruidoso where the funeral will be at 4:00 P.M.

Mrs. Vicars was born January 6, 1944 at Indianapolis, Indiana to Roy Richard and Alice Marie Webb and they both precede her in death, she moved to Ruidoso four years ago from Weatherford, Texas. She was a homemaker and attended the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. She married Berton L. Vicars on August 31, 1963 at Abilene, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Berton two daughters, Maria L. Robeson and her husband Mike and Diana L. Vicars a son, Eric R. Vicars 7 grandchildren, Derek Robeson, Nicholas Robeson, Scott Robeson, Ashley Vicars, Aarron Vicars, Felicity Vicars, and Kegan Vicars one great grandchild, Kasen Buckalew she was also preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Foster.

We thank God that he blessed us with such a special wife, mother, and friend and we are very proud of her, in the midst of her illness she said it was hard to know one was loosing their life, but that it would be devastating to loose ones faith. Thank you God.

Cremation is under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
