Funeral service for Henry F. Kilpatrick, 86, of Nogal will be Thursday, Sept. 13, at the First Baptist Church in Corona with burial to follow at the Corona Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Cal West. Mr. Kilpatrick passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, in Nogal. He was born October 3, 1920 in Nocona, Texas and was raised in Corona. He lived in Corona until moving to California in 1960 living there until moving to Socorro in 1979, he moved back to Lincoln County in 1999 from Socorro. He retired from Southern Pacific Railroad in the late 1970's as a Roadmaster. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Lattie Ingram on May 13, 1939 at Carrizozo and she preceded him in death on January 11, 2004. Survivors include her children, Willis Kilpatrick and his wife Carol of Overland Park, Kansas, Brenda Zumwalt and her husband Lloyd of Nogal, Dr. Jacquelyn Kilpatrick of Camarillo, California, Frank Hughes and his wife Sheila of Arkansas City, Kansas, and Nancy Buller and her husband Lonnie of Lake Horn, Mississippi; a sister, Evelyn Bates of Saugas, California; five grandchildren, Jay Kilpatrick, Shanna Bernig, Ronnie Zumwalt, Sheila Zumwalt Ventura, Zoya Kai; and 21 great grandchildren.
