Prayer vigil for Helen Marie Enjady-Kauley, 62, of Mescalero was at 6:00 PM on Monday August 11, 2008 and her Funeral Mass was on Tuesday August 12, 2008 at St. Josephs Apache Mission in Mescalero with Rev. Paul Botenhagen officiating. Burial followed at Mescalero Cemetery.
Helen was born on September 20, 1945 in Mescalero to Raymond Byron and Cynthia Botella Enjady. She passed away on August 8, 2008 at the Mescalero PHS Indian Hospital in Mescalero. Helen loved to do all kinds of arts and crafts and painting. She was a very faithful mother and grandmother who loved to clean all the time. She was very faithful to her religion.
Helen is preceded in death by her son, James Videll Kauley Jr. who passed away on August 8, 1993, 15 years to the day she died. Also preceded her in death are her parents, Raymond and Cynthia, and her brother, Elmer Enjady. Helen is survived by her sons, Kenneth Kauley of Tularosa, Benny Kaydahzinne Jr. of Mescalero, Rubin Enjady of Mescalero and Tyson Kaydahzinne of Albuquerque. Helen is also survived by her daughters, Jackie Kauley of Mescalero, Tracey Barrios of Mescalero and Deanna Kaydahzinne of Globe, AZ. Also surviving her is a brother Raymond Enjady of Mescalero and her sisters, Elthel Mancito of Mescalero, Rosanna Enjady of Phoenix, AZ and Lilly Hunter of Mescalero. Helen is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and a Great grandson on the way.
