Harriett Wright

Visitation for Harriett Maxine Wright, 86 of Ruidoso will be Wednesday, November 28, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 29, at 1:30 PM in the First Baptist Church of Ruidoso Downs, with Pastor Randy Widener officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Wright passed away Saturday, November, 24, in Springer, NM; she was born May 5, 1921 in El Paso TX, she married her high school sweetheart, James Frances June Wright on June 22, 1941 remaining married to him for 58 years until his death on February 10, 1999. Mrs. Wright is survived by her six children and their spouses Bradley Wright and wife Patricia of Houston TX; Susan Wright of Atlanta, GA; Clinton Wright and wife Debbie of Columbus, MT; Lisa Conkle and husband Marc of Las Vegas, NM; Lori Iannucci of Bellevue, WA; and Cyd Chavez and husband Art of Las Cruces, NM. Mrs. Wright survivor's also include fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Wright was a lifelong, active member of the Baptist church including First Baptist Church of Ruidoso Downs where she taught Sunday school for many years. She will be remembered by family and friends as a generous, caring person whose home was always open and who was always willing to assist those in need. Pallbearers include Marc Conkle, Seth Conkle, Art Chavez, Mylan Chavez, Gavyn Chavez, and Clinton Wright. In memory of Maxine Wright, please contribute to a charity of choice.
