Gordon Stricler

Visitation for Gordon H. Stricler, 82, of Ruidoso will be Friday, Nov. 12, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM with the funeral service on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 10:00 AM also at LaGrone Funeral Chapel, burial will follow at Ft. Stanton Cemetery.

Mr. Stricler passed away Monday, November 8, 2010, in Alamogordo, NM. He was born June 19, 1928 in Arkansas City, Kansas. He moved to Ruidoso in 1995 from Barstow, California. He was past owneroperator of Stricler Truss Company in Barstow, he was past president of Barstow Rotary Club, past president of Mojave River Valley Museum and he loved and taught line dancing. He had served in the U.S. Navy and attended the J Bar J Country Church. He married Donna Carter on September 3, 1949 at Barstow, CA.

He is survived by his wife, Donna of Ruidoso his daughter, Donna Lynn Stenstream of Cloudcroft, NM his son, Gordon Blake Stricler of Salt Lake City, UT 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
