Godfrey Herrera

Godfrey Ray Herrera was born to Godfrey Jiron Herrera and Pablita Trujillo Herrera on April 30, 1948, and was raised in Capitan, NM.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sisters, Lucy McCasland and Darlene Fresquez; nephews, Bruce Herrera, Kevin Fresquez, and Ricky Fresquez, Jr; nieces, Rhonda Newsome, Wanda Lamb, Natalie Fresquez, Paula McCasland, Carissa Chandler, and Cara McCasland; and 6 great nephews and 5 great nieces.

Godfrey was an Army veteran in the Vietnam War and he served in the Air Force National Guard, in Tucson, AZ

Services will be held together with his brother, William's, September 15, 2017 with the rosary at 10:00 A.M. and the funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Capitan.
