Gloria Inman

Graveside services for Gloria P. Inman, 84 of Alto, NM, will be at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday April 12, 2011 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo, TX with Rev. Jerry Davey officiating.

Mrs. Inman was born on August 19, 1926 in Amarillo, TX to Paul A. and Marie Lane Pyeatt and passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Mescalero.

She went to grade school in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School. She attended Wayland Baptist University, Nichols State University and University of Houston where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She married Harold R. Inman on May 29, 1947 in Amarillo and because of his employment with Mobil Oil Company they moved around, living in Louisiana, Texas, New York, Indonesia, and Norway. They moved to Alto in 2000 from Lakeway, Texas.

She was a devoted Christian and a loving wife with a positive attitude to everything and anyone. She was a avid Bridge Player and a member of Alto Country Club, Kokopelli Country Club and Cree Meadows Country Club.

Mrs. Inman is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James K. and Douglas Pyeatt and her sister, Pauline Higdon. She is survived by her husband, Harold Inman of Alto, and her sisters, Patricia Walls and husband Maurice of Ruidoso and Jeanne Johnson of Amarillo, TX.
