Gisela Crabb

Gisela Crabb, 85, of Ruidoso passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021. She was born February 15, 1936 in Kassel Germany. Mrs. Crabb was married to her late husband Carroll Crabb December 10, 1960 in France. They lived a very active military life in the Army, with their four wonderful children. Mrs. Crabb was a Licensed Vocational Nurse in different parts of Europe as her and her husband moved around in the Army.

She is survived by her children, Gabrielle Thomas and her husband Michael,Thomas Crabb, Jenny Crabb, Jimmy Crabb and his wife Luby, January Heldt and her husband Scotty; her grandchildren Alexis Clark, Junior Navarrette, Gisela Ann Quick, Corrina and Jacob Crabb, and 10 great grandchildren. Brothers Dieter Griesbach and Udo Griesbach. She was preceded in death by her mother Emma Griesbach, her father Joachim Griesbach, and her sister Rosie Diehl. She was very loved and will be missed by many.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 15, at the Capitan Methodist Church from 11:00 A.M. until Noon with the funeral service beginning at that time.  Burial will follow at Fort Stanton State Veterans Cemetery at 1:30 P.M.
