Gilbert Sainz

Gilbert Mark Sainz, age 66, passed from this life on May 22, 2023, in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Gilbert was born on August 23, 1956, to the late Antonio and Delores Sainz in Tularosa, New Mexico.

Mr. Sainz was a dedicated employee and after many years of service he retired as a Mill Wright at Mescalero Service Products. He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, camping and horseback riding. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with friends and loved ones.

Gilbert is survived by his loving wife, Naomi Sainz; son, Garrett Sainz; daughter, Glydia Sainz; grandchildren, Nehemiah, Ezekiel, Jahnya, Michaiah, Robbi, Ethan, and Garrett Jr.; brothers, Robert Sainz, Richard Sainz, James Sainz, and Andrew Sainz; and too many nieces, nephews, and friends to name.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Joseph Sainz.

Rosary will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Mission in Mescalero, New Mexico with mass to follow.
