Genevieve Dingman

Genevieve May Dingman, born on April 25, 1930, in Mason City, Iowa, and long time resident of Ruidoso, peacefully passed away on October 29, 2023, at the Mescalero Care Center, Mescalero, New Mexico.

Genevieve, a remarkable woman with a heart full of warmth and love, will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She touched the lives of many in Ruidoso with her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and genuine compassion.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Norberg and Doris Davis, her husband Ross, and son Douglas.

After completing her high school education, Genevieve pursued various careers, including accounting services for several Ruidoso businesses, where she excelled as a meticulous bookkeeper. This skilled profession allowed her to utilize her keen attention to detail and passion for numbers. Genevieve's dedication and expertise in her field earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and clients alike.

Genevieve's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother to two sons, Robert and Douglas Dingman, a daughter Penelope, and a loving grandmother to three grandchildren, Alicia Vandergrift, Caitlin Helms and Jonathon Dingman. Their love and bond brought immense happiness to Genevieve, filling her days with countless precious memories.

As we bid farewell to Genevieve, we take solace in knowing that her spirit will forever be a guiding light in our lives. She has left us with a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness that will continue to inspire us all.

Genevieve May Dingman now rests in eternal peace, her memory forever imprinted upon our hearts. Though we mourn her passing, we are grateful for the time we were blessed to share with such a remarkable woman. May her soul find tranquility in the embrace of eternity.
