Fred Bernard

Memorial service for Fred Bernard, 72, of Ruidoso Downs will be Saturday, October 8, at 4:00 PM at the Ruidoso Elks Lodge on Highway 70 followed by a potluck meal.

Mr. Bernard passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Ruidoso Downs. He was born January 19, 1939 at Iron Mountain, Michigan. He retired from the New Mexico State Police in 1979, he worked for the Ruidoso Downs Police Department and was former Municipal Judge for Ruidoso Downs. He moved to Ruidoso Downs 40 years ago from Vaughn, NM. He married Rose Loup on June 28, 1958 at Carlsbad, NM.

He is survived by his wife, Rose a son, Terry Bernard daughter, Lisa Ann Bernard two brothers, Ronald Bernard and Eugene Bernard and two grandchildren, Tee Bernard and Sara A. Cummins.

Service
