Estelle Nagy

Graveside service for Estelle Nagy, 83, of Capitan will be Friday, Nov. 20, at 10:30 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Carrizozo. Mrs. Nagy passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at her home. She was born April 6, 1926 at Drew, Mississippi. She grew up in Mississippi and worked on the farm and picked cotton by hand and attended school in a one room school. She was one of the first Women Engineers in California. She attended Foursquare Church in California and was active in the ladies prayer group. She is survived by three children, Doris King, Mary Hagerman, and Sharon Lynn Witt; 3 grandsons, Joseph Witt, David Witt, and Brian Witt.
