Prayer service for Emma Romero, 90, of Capitan will be Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at 9:00 AM in San Juan Church at Lincoln with the funeral mass following at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Lincoln Cemetery. Ms. Romero passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Capitan. She was born December 29, 1918 at Lincoln and had lived in Lincoln County all of her life. She had worked at Ft. Stanton Hospital for over 20 years and retired as an attendant. Survivors include her children, Theresa Gavi, Emma Jean Herrera, Pauline Zamora, Frances Chavez, Michael Romero and Mary Page; 13 grandchildren and numberous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
