Emma Gurrola

Funeral service for Emma Gurrola, 94, of Ruidoso will be Tuesday, June 29, at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ruidoso with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Gurrola passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Mescalero Care Center. She was born January 14, 1916 at Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Mexico. She moved to Ruidoso in February, 1996 from El Paso, Texas. She was a housewife and attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She married Daniel Armendariz Gurrola on August 18, 1937 at Chihuahua City, Mexico and he preceded her in death on October 13, 1998.

She is survived by two sons, Hector Gurrola of Ruidoso and Dan Gurrola of Lubbock, TX two daughters, Yvonne Flores of El Paso and Magdalena Aranda of Ruidoso 3 brothers, Ruben Reza and Rodolfo Reza both of El Paso and Rogelio Reza of Los Angeles, CA 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
