Emilia Montes

Prayer service for Emilia Montoya Montes, 89, of Glencoe will be Monday, Oct. 4, at 7:00 PM at St. Judes Catholic Church at San Patricio where the funeral mass will be on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 10:00 AM, burial will follow at St. Judes Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Montes passed away Friday, October 1, 2010 in Ruidoso. She was born October 8, 1920 at San Patricio, New Mexico and had lived in the Hondo Valley all of her life. She married Jose D. Montes on July 12, 1940 and he preceded her in death on May 12, 2010. She was a homemaker and attended St. Judes Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Alfred Montes and Eloy Montes of Glencoe two brothers, Anselmo Montoya of Glencoe and Monroy Montoya and his wife Gerty of Ruidoso Downs a sister, Alvesa Sanchez of Ruidoso one grandchild, Delfina White of Porterville, California and one great grandchild, R.J. Johnson of Porterville, California.
