Elroy Tahnito

Elroy Tahnito, 51, passed away April 16, 2009, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He lived in Mescalero all of his life. Elroy was born May 12, 1957, in Mescalero New Mexico to Charlotte Randall. BRBRHe was a Banquets Setup Supervisor at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. Elroy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. BRBRElroy leaves behind a wife, Abigal Tahnito, and four daughters, Shannon Grossman of Alabama, Alice, Wynona and Charlotte Tahnito of the home. He was blessed with two wonderful grandchildren, Lakeisha and Brayden Rocha. BRBRPallbearers included Berwyn Cecil Chino, Dwight Evans, Donnie Kaydahzinne Sr., Murray Randall, Stanley Venego, Lionel Magoosh, Alberto DeLeon and LcPl Enjady, Hesston, USMC.BRBRHonorary pallbearers included Kenneth Kaytitah Jr., Sonny Trujillo, Tommy Enjady, Jordan Wheeler, Ralph Kern, Nelson Kaydahzinne Jr., James Muldowney, Jess Randall, Earl Tortilla, Lee Moquino Jr., Cyrus Moquino Jr., Willard Evans Sr., Thurman L. Sago, Jose Valdez, Kerwin M. Lester, Byron Blake, IMG Banquet Set-Up Crew, and all Friends and Relatives.BRBRElroy was proceeded in death by his mother and grand-daughter, Mariah-Rose Blake.BRBRVisitation for Elroy is on April, 20, 2009 at the Lagrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Prayer services will be held on April 20, 2009 at the Mescalero Baptist Church at 6:00 p.m. Funeral BRservices will be held on April 21, 2009 at the Mescalero Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. with Brother John Huse officiating. Interment will follow at the Mescalero Cemetary
