Elmo Brady

Prayer service for Elmo Brady, 91, of Hondo will be Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at 9:00 AM in St. Jude's Catholic Church at San Patricio where the funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, burial will follow at the Hondo Cemetery. Mr. Brady passed away Monday, Dec. 29, in Ruidoso. He was born October 30, 1917 at Hondo to Rosarita and William Brady. Mr. Brady was raised in Lincoln County then he served in the Army during World War II, he also had lived in Newfoundland and Phoenix, Arizona. He moved back to Lincoln County in 1972. He married Geraldine Kimbrall in 1946 at California and she preceded him in death on September 6, 2007. Survivors include a son, Patrick Bardy of Hondo; a daughter, Emileen Joann Nunez of Roswell; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Billly Joe Brady of Hondo and a sister, Orlidia Fresquez of Roswell.
