Funeral serivces for Jean Radcliffe, 88 of Ruidoso will be Thursday, Feb. 5, at 10:00 AM in the Episcopal Church of the Holy Mount in Ruidoso. Mrs. Radcliffe passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in Ruidoso. She was born December 13, 1920 at Dayton, Iowa to Myrtle and Carl Newholm who both precede her in death. Mrs. Radcliffe was a member of the Daughters of the King, attended the Episcopal Church of the Holy Mount and was a retired Registered Nurse. She married James M. Radcliffe Sr. on January 8, 1943 at Kansas City, Missouri. She is survived by her husband James of Ruidoso; 4 sons, James M. Radcliffe Jr. of Berkeley, California, Robert F. Radcliffe of El Paso, Texas, Thomas P. Radcliffe of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and William G. Radcliffe of El Paso, Texas; three brothers, Rueben Newholm of Wisconsin, Wayne Newholm of Iowa, and Donald Newholm of California; two sisters, Ione Duft of Colorado and Rose Fast of California; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
