Elizabeth Duncan

Memorial prayer services for Elizabeth Estelle Duncan, 82, of Ruidoso, NM, will be Wednesday, September 7, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Eleanor Catholic Church.

Mrs. Duncan passed away on Monday August 15, at the Mescalero Care Center. On August 23, she was buried at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with her husband, Charles, who preceded her in death on July 19, 1991.

Elizabeth was born June 14, 1929, in Waterville, ME. She moved to Ruidoso in 2005 from El Paso, Texas. In El Paso, she was owner of the Shorette Charm and Modeling School. She also worked for Jose Escobar, Attorney at Law.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Craigo and her husband William of Alto, NM her brother Peter Shorette and his wife Betty of Showhegan, ME and Agnes Shorette her sisterinlaw of Milford, ME. She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Shorette of Old Town, ME.

The family has requested memorials to Ruidoso Home Care and Hospice, P.O. Box 2019, Ruidoso, NM, 88345.
