Eddie Chavez

Eddie Chavez, 61, passed away suddenly on September 2nd, 2018 at his home in
Hondo, NM. He was born February 19, 1957 in Ruidoso, NM, he was the son of Brezel Chavez and Irene Richardson.

Eddie Chavez was a lifelong residence of the Hondo Valley, He attended Hondo High
School where he graduated in 1975. He had a passion for fishing, hunting and
collecting antiques. He also had a love for old fashion western movies. Always willing
to give a helping hand, he will be remembered for his selfless loving spirit.

He is survived by his spouse Frances Chavez; children; Shirley Tapia (Benney Tapia),
Jason Candelaria (Angela Candelaria) Jessica Candelaria, Angelica Valenzuela (Eddi
Valenzuela) and Alysia Chavez; 12 grandchildren; brothers; Freddy Chavez (Anjanette)
and AJ Richardson. Eddie is preceded in death by his parents Brezel Chavez and Irene
Richardson.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St Jude's Catholic Church in San Patricio, NM at 10:00 A.M.
