Dorothy Weber

Graveside service for Dorothy Weber, 92, of Tularosa and formerly of Alto will be Saturday, Aug. 11, at 2:00 PM in Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Smith officiatng. Mrs. Weber passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, at her home, she was born November 10, 1914 in New York City to Gerda and Sigfrid Nelson. Her parents moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1915, she was educated in the Detroit Public Schools and Business School. She was employed as an office worker, secretary, and bookkeeper for many years. She moved to Alto in August, 1989 from Detroit. She married George H. Weber on February 24, 1939 and he preceded her in death on July 4, 2002. She is a member of Sheperd of the Hills Lutheran Church. She is survived by a son, Richard G. Dick Weber; a sister, Alice Pettibone.
