Doris Hepple

Memorial service for Doris Hepple, 95, of Alto will be Friday, March 2, at 1:00 PM in LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso.

Mrs. Hepple passed away Monday, February 27, 2012 in Mescalero. She was born November 23, 1916 in New York City. She moved to Lincoln County 10 years from Las Cruces, NM. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY and moved to the Southwest in 1948. She loved to read, bird watch and work with children. She volunteered at Nob Hill Early Childhood Development Center in Ruidoso.

She married Wilson S. Hepple in 1940 in New Jersey and he preceded her in death in 1984. She is survived by a daughter, Ellie Weinreich of Alto son, Jeff Hepple of McGregor, TX a brother, Edward VanBuskirk 6 grandchildren, Greg Sharp, Rebekah Stephens, Casey Weinreich, Shana Martinez, Lisa Martinez, and J. Scott Hepple 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
